Much cheaper than in CPH. 15-30$ / ride
🚗 Transportation
Not to be confused with the supermarket! Easy the navigate, be careful where you exit because you might end up on the other side of the road.. or inside a building! Montreal's underground city covers 32 km of tunnels.
🚗 Transportation
Bring your Copenhagen lifestyle to Montreal by renting Bixis all over Montreal, download the app to know where the closest station is. FYI 100$ of deposit is taken from your account, then returned when you are done all your rides. Also, "Blue bixis", the electric bixis, require a helmet & you might get a fine if they catch you without one.
🚗 Transportation
I don't like the bus, don't take the bus unless you have to. Take a bixi instead.

Must be my favorite neighborhood in Montreal. Great bars & shops - they close the main street (Ave. Mont-Royal) in the summertime so people can walk.

Nice restaurant and bars, close to the Canal Lachine. More english speaking if you notice.

Another one of my favorite neighborhood. Bagels, restaurants and small bars.

This is where I live - an old train repair site that’s been transformed into a residential area. What used to be workshops is now a Provigo (supermarket), and some great restaurants have opened nearby (Annette, Hoogan & Beaufort, Le Red Tiger, La Chope Angus). I’d recommend them all.

To tourists, this area is very "european". If the weather is nice I recommend exploring this area. Because of the F1 weekend coming on May 22-24, people might be showing off their cars & it might have a more superficial vibe to it. Hopefully, not!
