Canada

Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal

Beautiful stained glasses and detailing, neogothic church. Huge events like funerals of important people in Canada (Prime ministers, national icons) usually take place here. Céline Dion got married here.

Belvédère

Hike up the Mont-Royal and the stairs to end up having an incredible view of Montreal. Nature inside the city, you might see many raccoons or squirrels.

Vieux-Port de Montréal

Walk in the small streets of the Old Port and end up by the St-Lawrence, great vibes on evenings.

Olympic Stadium

Go see the most inclined tower in the world! Unfortunately, the project never quite lived up to its ambitions, and the Government of Québec is still dealing with the costs. In the last 5 years, it's been repurposed with offices in the tower. The best metro to come off is Métro Pie-IX, then walk up the hill. Many festivals happen in the concrete square in front on it called "L'esplanade".

Jardin botanique de Montréal

Beautiful garden! Especially in May if the flowers are blooming. Very peaceful, I love the Japanese garden. Must buy tickets in person or before hand. Check out if they have special events. Métro Pie-IX.

Parc Lafontaine

Beautiful park inside the city. Nice to walk around the lake. People skate there in the winter!

Atwater Market

Visit the market & food courts. Go walk by the canal afterwards.

Place des Arts

Festival square, downtown Montreal they typically always have something going on in the summer.

Bota Bota

Spa by the water in the Old Port

Sainte Catherine Street

Our "Strøget". The main shopping street. Go to the Eaton Center for more stores & you can also grab something to eat at the Time Out Market.

Rue Saint-Denis

Start in Square St-Louis & walk up to Ave Mont-Royal. Stores & restaurants.
