La Banquise

THE place to eat poutine. Open 24/7. Gets crowded on nights & weekends - but the line always moves.

Banh Mi Banh Yiu

Great Banh Mis. My favorite is the large house salad with Char Xiu chicken & spicy eggplant.

Restaurant Mélisse

People love this restaurant - I've never been though!

Kahwa Café

Amazing Lamb sandwich "Kebab libre"; many locations

Schwartz's Deli - Sandwiches - Steaks

Iconic Montreal Deli for Smoked Meat

St-Viateur Bagel

THE bagel place. They have another shop on Ave. Mont-Royal - where they do sandwiches, which is great - but this is where they make it. Ask for them freshly baked & get cream cheese (they have other toppings there too), eat them right there. They take CASH ONLY but they have an ATM there in case you forget. This is located in Mile-End, next to Banh Mi Banh Yiu :) A very Hasidic Jewish neighborhood, don't be alarmed if you see people with flip phones! I used to work right in front, at lululemon - which unfortunately closed.

Terrasse Nelligan

Great Terrasse with a view on the old port. Might have some superficial vibe to it due to the F1 weekend coming up (May 22-24)

Satay Brothers Resto 3721 Notre-Dame

Singaporean food - must be my favorite restaurant in Montreal

Le Vin Papillon

Great wine bar - same owners as Joe Beef.

Arthurs Nosh Bar

Typical brunch. Amazing Pancakes.

Le Red Tiger — Le Village | Restaurant vietnamien à Montréal

Vietnamese food, they also have other locations (e.g. Time Out Market)

Bar Darling

Great vibe & drinks

Atwater Cocktail Club

Cocktail Bar

Dandy

Brunch!

Crew Collective & Cafe

Old bank turned into a coffee shop. Beautiful ceiling & stained glass windows.

Joe Beef

Québec French cuisine. Excellent food, wine & service, come here if you want to treat yourself. "Joe Beef in Montreal was a favorite restaurant of Anthony Bourdain, famously featured in Parts Unknown and The Layover. Bourdain praised owners David McMillan and Frederic Morin for their indulgent "Québécois lumberjack" cuisine. He highlighted their decadent dishes, including lobster spaghetti, foie gras, and bone marrow, calling it a necessary, top-tier dining destination."

Burgundy Lion

Our Irish pub

Vin Mon Lapin

#2 in 2025 Canada's 100 best. Come here if you want to treat yourself.

Le Petit Sao (Vieux Montréal)

Many locations. Great Vietnamese food. Bahn mi. There was a huge immigration of Vietnamese people in the 80s explaining why we have so many Vietnamese restaurant. Most of them knew french because of the French colonization in Vietnam.

Leméac

Fancy brunch at a French brasserie
